Here is the 8th newsletter on the project TRACCE DI MEMORIA – TRAME (2020-1-IT02-KA201-079794), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
In this newsletter we would like to remind you on amazing achievements of the TRAME national pilot programs, to provide you with the plans for approaching international mobilities and share with you important events for our project.
In the end of the last year TEAM TRAME finalized national pilot programs aimed to test and validate TRAME educational methodology. Variety of workshops were conducted by partner organizations in Italy, Hungary, Serbia and Turkey, together with valuable pilot programme evaluation provided by the University of Warsaw.

This is one of the most important activities of the TRAME project and thus it is prepared carefully, based upon the first-year experience and conducted work done by TRAME consortium. The mobility is based on the previously done research of best practices, methodologies and tools developed and tested during the national pilot programs and redefined according to the provided evaluation of the aforementioned programs.
Mobilities will be organized in March, April, and June in three partner countries: Serbia, Hungary, and Italy. The exchange will last for 7 days and involve 25 students per country accompanied by 3 teachers. Together with the local classes the foreign students will take part in joint learning activities hosted by the partner and its related archaeological site. All the participating pupils were involved in the pilot courses held at the national level, so they are already familiar with the TRAME methodologic approach and with the topics of migrations addressed during the mobility.
The main goals of the exchanges:
to get in touch with the hosting partner and the related archaeological site
to get a better understanding of the common cultural roots linking different populations in Europe
to go deeper into cultural diversity by working side by side with pupils from other EU countries
to get a better understanding of the value of cultural diversity and apparent dualism between local/national and European identities
to foster a sense of belonging to European Union and develop European citizenship
to develop key competences and skills among pupils, such as in particular the spirit of initiative and communication in foreign languages, social and civic skills, awareness and cultural expression
to strengthen the link between the management of archaeological sites and the local communities, through a closer cooperation between schoolteachers and heritage managers in the planning, organization and implementation of the training activities as well as management of the groups during their stay abroad.
PRESENTATION OF RESULTS
Between 9th and 12th of February within the Çatalca Belediyesi exhibition at the EMITT EXPO TRAME project got an opportunity to present its outputs and results. East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel – EMITT EXPO is one of the top five tourism exhibitions worldwide. It attracts around 40.000 industry professionals and tourists looking for new and exciting travel opportunities from destinations and travel service companies from across the globe. We are happy that values of TRAME has been recognized and presented to such a wide public.
TRAME project got an opportunity to present its innovative methodologies for learning combining cultural heritage and education, focused on the topic of the connection of the ancient and modern migrations within the Educational and Book fair, as well as unique multimedia literary pavilion entitled “Spiritual migrations”. On the 10th of March between 2:00 and 3:00 PM on the stage “Laza Kostić”, TRAME project will be presented within the Educational Fair “Putokazi” in Novi Sad, European Capital of Culture for 2022. We are expecting you to join our presentations and small exhibition.
