NEWSLETTER – JULY & AUGUST 2022

Dear colleagues,

Here is our 11th newsletter on the project TRACCE DI MEMORIA – TRAME (2020-1-IT02-KA201-079794), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

This newsletter aims to remind you on the amazing results of TRAME transnational mobilities in Serbia, Hungary and Italy, but now from the prospective of pupils who participated. Here you will see their personal and emotional experiences in a form of diaries of exchange.

Thus, try to feel pupils’ emotions behind the serious work that has been done in the last six months.

Enjoy TRAME NEVER ENDING JOURNEY!!!

DIARY 1

“Figurines” group

05.04 – on the first day we played a game using the application on the phone. The app guided us through the city where we looked for its historical treasures, and before all that we started our board game workshop.

06.04 – Today, we started and almost finished making the figurines at the workshop, then in the early evening we went on the empty summer-outdoor concert hall to prepare for the light show that was filmed for national television!

07.04 – Today was a very busy day. In the morning we listened two lectures about first hand migrations and in the afternoon we finished making figurines and making character designs for the cards.

DIARY 2

“Special cards” group

Being in Pecs was a very interesting experience. It is such a beautiful place with delightful history. People in the city were very friendly and approachable.

We are a bit sad that we couldn’t spend more time exploring the city :(

On the other side, we are so grateful because we were given the opportunity to work on this project and we hope you are satisfied with our work.

One fun fact: we were a little bit shocked when we saw fruit soup but it was actually delicious. And the sightseeing game was really nice but there was a little problem considering that we didn’t have internet for the application.

Sincerely, “Special cards” group

DIARY 3

The experience of Maša, Mina and Jana

Dear diary,

This week we embarked on a new adventure. Together with the school after Viminacium, we traveled to Pecs, Hungary. The past few days have been full of excitement, joy and happiness. To visit a new country and meet new people is a wonderful experience that we will remember forever and for which we are very grateful. In addition to getting acquainted with the new culture, we also had workshops in the afternoon, while in the morning we toured the city, had lectures or played board games. Every day we learned something new that was extremely interesting to us. We are delighted with Hungarian cuisine and architecture. The city is beautiful and rich in history. People are very kind and always with a smile on their face. As the name of the game we make tells this adventure will never end until we allow it to be so, we are the ones who will sustain it. We are extremely glad to be a part of the project and it will remain in our memory.
